Hello Musicians and Friends!

First Barn Jam 2026

District 5 has transitioned to our summer schedule of playing at the Barn in Belfair on 2nd, 4th and any 5th Tuesdays and luckily, had a nice warm first day for a large crowd of musicians and a few hikers stopping by to enjoy our music.  Good to see our friends from Olympia!  I am incredibly amazed that we can get together with friends weekly and play music~what a joyful Gift.  On the other hand, when we played the following Saturday for the Port Orchard Farmers Market, the weather had turned windy, quite cool and threatened thunderstorms.  Such variety!~that’s Spring.  Thanks to Sharon’s visiting family for taking our picture.  A good time

And then…. there’s First Friday Jams at Key Center, District 15 Campout June 12th,13th and 14th, Fiddle Tunes in Port Townsend end of June, WOTFA Fiddle Camp in July in Cashmere and Centralia Campout in August!  Hope to see many of you somewhere along the way.  Summer will go by fast.

*****SAVE THE DATE for District5 Labor Day Campout*****  Great campground facilities, good food, LOTS of jamming and we get to play for the Square Dancers at Kitsap Square dance Association on Old Belfair Hwy in Bremerton.  Always a good time.  And there are LOTS of blackberries! Jamming Every Tuesday 1-4pm, will only be at Silverdale Mall the First and Third Tuesday and the Barn in Belfair at the Hood Canal Salmon Center, 600 NE Roessel Rd for every second, fourth and any fifth Tuesday until September.  The barn is only a shelter so dress accordingly for weather and temperature.  Stop by, take a hike before or after the jam and visit their farm animals and gardens. Please come join us!
