🎻 District 4 March Report 🎻

By Fred Robbins

Hello, fellow fiddlers and friends!

February was a fantastic month filled with music, camaraderie, and great turnouts at our play-outs and jam sessions. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated—your music brings joy to so many!

February Highlights 🎶

Our Valentine’s Day gathering at Mt. Vernon Senior Center was a hit, with great performances from Dwight, Denise, Mici, Jim, Ben, Steve, Barry, Banjo Greg, Mandolin Greg, Diana, and more! We also had a successful Fiddle Tune Workshop, with musicians learning new tunes and sharpening their backup guitar and mandolin skills—thanks to Dennis, Peggy, Gary, Greg, Sandy, Jack, David, Forrest, and Barry for making it happen!

Special shoutout to Nancy, Hilary, and Steve for their extra help, and a warm welcome to Gayle Clarity from the Oregon Fiddlers—she’ll be joining us in March as she moves into Mountain Glen. Another special welcome to Judi—so glad to have you back with us!

Our play-out at LifeCare M/V was well-received by 25 residents, with great music from Mici, Jim, Greg, Forrest, Dwight, Vern, and Steve. A special moment was when Dwight played extra dulcimer tunes for Carmen in her wheelchair—what a wonderful touch!
