For the month of March, 2025 here is what’s going on for WOTFA District 9 (Thurston & Lewis Counties):

OPEN ACOUSTIC JAM–CHANGE OF VENUE! Friday, March 7, 2025 11am-1pm at the LEWIS COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 599 NW Front Way in downtown Chehalis.  This is a different location that our usual, but the Baptist Church is having a wedding the first weekend in March and will be doing preparations all day on March 7th, including the buiding we normally jam in.  There is plenty of parking both in front of and behind the museum, and we will be jamming just inside the front entrance in the museum foyer.  The museum doesn’t charge us to meet there, but does ask that everyone put a few dollars in the museum’s donation jar before they leave.

COLONIAL STILLWATER ESTATES PLAYDATE:  WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12TH FROM 4:00PM-5:00PM, Colonial is located at 2700 Colonial Drive in Centralia, just off Cooks Hill Rd and about 3/4 of a mile past Providence Centralia Hospital.  We will be playing in the Residence Building, which is the big white building with pillars.  The music parlor is just inside the main entrance and to the left.

PACIFIC NW CHAMBER ORCHESTRA SPRING CONCERT INTERMISSION GIG:  MONDAY, MARCH 17TH AT 7:00 PM AT Centralia College Corbet Theater, inside Washington Hall.  The theater is located at Pear and Washington Streets in Centralia.  Please come early as parking fills up fast.  This is a free concert and is very popular.  It starts at 7:00pm and the intermission is usually around 7:45-8:00pm and we will be playing 4 or maybe 5 tunes for them.  There is a green room backstage that is continually attended so you can safely leave your instruments and gear while you enjoy the concert.  Here are the tunes we’ll be playing:
