Wow! It’s already September. I can’t believe it. We’ve had a good summer in District 6 with our regular playdates and we are looking forward to getting together Sept. 7th for our meeting/jam. It will be great to see everyone and play music together in a larger group. I, for one, am looking forward to lunch and catching up with what everyone has been doing this summer.
The Smith family attended fiddle camp this year. Bella took level four classes and enjoyed the challenge. She played with the band for the square dance. Cici was in level one and pulled together as many jams as possible with people of all ages. You can see her in the picture with 2 adults. I’m sure that Cici and Bella enjoyed playing with people from other districts and the those people probably enjoyed them as much as we do in District 6! All in all, it sounds like they had a wonderful time and learned a lot. I’ve included the pictures Shawna (their mom) took at the camp. They are below.
