Howdy Fellow Musicians~

The summer has been such a blur of events, workshops and campouts that it is hard to believe it’s time to submit a September report.  We’ve seen many of you at Fiddle Tunes, Fiddle Camp in Cashmere and Centralia Campout.  If you missed any of these this year, put them on your calendar Now for 2027!  So many friends and tunes and stories make this life joyful, Thanks to all who put effort into creating these events.  Checkout the WOTFA Facebook page to see the pictures of Fiddle Camp https://www.facebook.com/share/g/14qyymwjjPF/   You won’t want to miss it next year.

Speaking of Marking your calendars, if you’re reading this you were either at District 5’s annual Labor Day Campout or you missed it.  Mark your calendars for 2027.  It’s always Labor Day Weekend.  Playing for the Square Dancers, jamming and camping with friends brings such a nice end to the summer.

We are still Jamming every Tuesday from 1-4pm.  1st and third at the Silverdale Mall community room next to Dick’s Sporting Goods. And, until the end of September in Belfair at the Salmon Center Barn for all 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesdays 600 NE Roessel Rd.  Dress for the weather at the Barn.  Beginning in October, we will resume our jams at Silverdale Mall EVERY Tuesday so you know where to find us!  Come have some fun with us.  Check out our Facebook page (20+) Facebook

We will resume our monthly business meetings in September.  We will meet at the Kitsap Square Dance Hall in Bremerton from 11-3 on September 19th, with the first hour dedicated to no music stands to develop our listening ears, a brief business meeting with finger foods, and then more jamming til 3 (with music stands if so desired).
