Old Growth Old Time Festival

Calling all jammers, dancers, and folk music lovers!
Every October, Seattle hosts its annual oldtime music festival, at the Latvian Center in the Northgate neighborhood.
All are invited to come experience the rich culture and community of Oldtime music!
There is something for everyone, with performances followed by square dancing and honky-tonk dancing. Music and dance workshops will take place during the day, along with copious jamming, potluck meals, cabaret performances, and more jams.
Bring your friends and family – we look forward to seeing you all at OGO 🙂

How do I know what district I’m in? I live in Kent not far from Seatac Airport. I would LOVE to have a local contact, someone who lives nearby.
I have loved guitars and guitar music since I was preschool age. I’m 67 years old, born in November 1957. I own and dearly love Martin guitars, including a 2022 D-18 and a 2020 HD-35. I play a lot of old Christian hymns (mostly 1800’s) for a Bible study in a Merrill Gardens retirement home in Burien, WA on Thursdays 11:00-12:00. All are welcome!

Hey Clint! There’s a map of official districts under the Home tab, just click “About Us”. Districts are divided by county, and King County is District 6. You’re always welcome to join in any event that interests you, no matter where in the state it’s happening, or where in the state you live!
