District 5 Labor Day Weekend Campout
Join District 5 and Kitsap County square dancers for our annual campout at the Kitsap County Square Dance Hall in Gorst, WA. 6800 W Belfair Hwy, Bremerton, Wa .
District 5 Campout Sept. 1 – 3, 2023
Lots of help needed – set up jam tent, set up for meals, cooking, cleanup.
Friday:
Set up jam tent 10 am Shopping
Dinner on your own Jamming, jamming, jamming
Saturday:
AM 7:30 – 9 ;00 Fiddlers provide breakfast – Scrambled eggs & biscuits & gravy, butter & jam, honey.
10:00 – Band practice
11:00 – Workshop
12:00 – 1:00 – Lunch on your own
PM 1:00 – We’ll do a poker jam if enough folks wants that or else `there will jamming in the jam tent and everywhere.
5:30 Fiddlers provide hamburgers for dinner + potluck sides
Evening Fiddlers play for square dance (time to be determined) Jamming
Hot dogs and campfire after the dance
Sunday:
7:30 – 9:00 Breakfast – fruit, scrambled eggs and pastries
10:30am – Gospel Hour
