“Time marches on”.  I have said many times before that the only constant in life is “change”.  The past couple of years have proven that to be self evident.  As with everything, change is inevitable in everything that we experience.

This will be my last report as president of the Washington Old Time Fiddlers Association.  I will be stepping down on Thursday August 12th.  I am not sure at this time who the new president will be, but, I am sure that whoever takes the reigns will strive to support and lead this organization to greater times.

Leigh Frazier will also be stepping down as the treasurer of WOTFA.  I would like to take this time to express my gratitude and utmost respect for Leigh and the service she has provided to the organization and the support she has given to me for the past 6 years.  Leigh has been a rock.   Thank you Leigh, words cannot express the admiration that I have for you and the work that you have done.

I would also like to thank the board of directors and the officers for their support and dedication.  The WOTFA is holding it’s own, thanks to their dedication and continued devotion to the Washington Old Time Fiddlers.

And lastly, I would like to thank all the members of the Washington Old Time Fiddlers for their support.  Without you this organization would not be possible.

The board of directors will hold their Summer board meeting online.  The primary agenda item will be the election of new officers.  All current members of the WOTFA are invited to attend the board meeting online.  Preregistration is required.  You will be receiving an email with instructions on where to register for the board meeting.

Thank you all

Bill Crabtree
