June 2021 has arrived and summer 2021 will soon be upon us.  The past year and a half has taken it’s toll on all of us.   The cancellation of the 2021 Fiddle Camp was a sad blow to all of WOTFA.  It was disappointing news to hear that camp had been cancelled, but, very understandable given the current and ongoing concerns over the virus.  I know that the Workshop committee and the Board of Directors had a very tough decision to make.  Given the low registration and cost of the supporting fiddle camp, we were left with little choices.

But, there is light at the end of this dark tunnel.  We will come through this, and we will be back together.  I heard a song on the radio the other day that both caused me to reflect on the past year, and inspired me to keep moving forward.  I have included it in the link below, and although it is not an old time fiddle tune, I hope that you will listen to the words that are being sung, and feel as inspired as I do to strive for a better tomorrow.
