Hi Everyone! Happy Autumn at long last. For the month of October we have two main things happening:
The first is our regular 1st Friday jam on Friday, October 6th from 10am-Noon at Faith Baptist Church in Chehalis, located at 436 Coal Creek Rd.
To find the Church, take I-5 to exit 79, then head EAST. Take a LEFT at N. National Ave and go 1/3 mile, then turn RIGHT onto Coal Creek Rd. Go 1.1 miles, then take a RIGHT turn into the Church driveway. We are usual in the middle building. There will be coffee and tea and some snacks but it won’t be a potluck.
The second thing happening in October is our regular 2nd Wednesday playdate on Wednesday, October 11th from 4:00pm-5:00pm at Colonial Stillwater Residence, located at 2700 Colonial Drive in Centralia.
To find Colonial Residence from the NORTH: Take I-5 to exit 82 (Harrison Ave) exit, then go straight through the light, staying on the frontage road that runs parallel to I-5. Stay in the right hand lane and follow the frontage road to the Mellen St light, then take a RIGHT. Follow the road over the Chehalis River bridge and past Scheuber Rd, then go about another mile, then take a LEFT into the entrance to Colonial Stillwater (Stillwater Ave), we will be in the big white building on the RIGHT with pillars. The music parlor is just inside the entrance.
To find Colonial Stillwater from the SOUTH take I-5 to the Mellen St exit, turn LEFT on Mellen St, then follow the road over the Chehalis River bridge, go straight for about 1.5 miles, then turn LEFT on Stillwater Ave.

Also, don’t forget that there are several other (non-WOTFA) jams in our area that are also fun to go to. The first is the WAMA Hope Grange jam on Saturday, October 14th from 1pm-4pm. It’s fun and beginner friendly and is a potluck.
The second is the Oakview Grange jam (part of WAMA), happening on Friday, October 20th from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
