Hi Everyone:
For the month of January we have the following going on:
FRIDAY, JANUARY 2nd from 11:00am-1:00pm. Open Acoustic Jam at the Lewis County Historical Museum, located at 599 NW Front Way in downtown Chehalis. There is parking on both sides of the museum and we will be jamming just inside the front doors. There will be coffee and tea and some snacks but it won’t be a potluck. The museum doesn’t charge us to use the facility but they do ask that if people could put a few dollars in their donation jar at the front desk they would be grateful.
**NO COLONIAL PLAYDATE THIS MONTH**
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28th from 3:30pm-4:30pm. SHARON CARE CENTER PLAYDATE. Sharon Care is located at 1509 Harrison Ave in Centralia. To get to Sharon Care take the Harrison Ave exit off I-5, then head West past the Safeway. Turn left just past the Dollar General Store on Fords Prairie Ave. Sharon Care will be on the right. Go all the way to the back of the building and park there. The main entrance is in the back of the building. We will be playing in the Skilled Dining Room, just a short ways inside the main doors. We will be using the January playlist, which is below.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 30th from 3:00pm-4:00pm. WOODLAND VILLAGE PLAYDATE. Woodland is located at 2100 SW Woodland Circle in Chehalis, which is right behind Steck Medical Clinic. We will be playing in the main dining room, just inside the main entrance and to the right. Also using the January playlist.
OTHER FUN THINGS THIS MONTH:
WAMA SLOW JAM Saturday, January 10th from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm at The Hope Grange, 120 Antrim Rd in Winlock.
Fun and laid back slow jam and potluck. Beginners welcome. Chord Sheet for common tunes is at their website, wamamusic.com
JUICEBOX JAM; Second Sunday of every month at 1:00pm. The Juicebox is located at 216 S. Tower Ave in Centralia. Let me know if you need a list of their commonly played tunes, I will send it to you. Mike & Jesse usually attend this jam as well as Kate and Todd if you have questions.
TRADITIONS CAFE JAM: Third Sunday of every month from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Located at 300 5th Ave SW in Olympia, Wa 98501. 360-705-2819. From looking at the tune list this is a bluegrass jam, but I have not had the chance to go. Nancy and Larry frequently attend if you have any questions. There have a tune list available that I can send if you would like.
