Greetings Friends and Musicians!  We’ve been quite busy in District 5 and are looking forward to seeing you at our Labor Day Campout-August 29-31.  Fiddle Camp and various other venues for greeting old friends and making new ones are starting to slow down and we shall keep enjoying summer for as long as we can.  All too soon we’ll be playing Autumn Leaves, Beer Barrel Polka and Maple Sugar…

Crosby Days

We’ve enjoyed Farmer’s Markets, Ocean Shores Sand & Sawdust Festival, Crosby Days and playing in the barn at the Salmon Center in Belfair.  After the campout, we will resume our monthly business meetings and jamming at the Kitsap Square Dance Hall from 11-3 in September.  Our meetings are the third Saturday of every month.  The first hour is play by ear, no written music, then a brief finger food business meeting break and then more jamming til 3 (with music stands if you wish!).  It’s fun.  Come join us!

JAMMING EVERY TUESDAY 1-3!  First and third Tuesdays are in Silverdale Mall in the community room next to Dick’s Sporting Goods and through the end of September we will continue meeting at the Salmon Center Barn in Belfair on 2nd, 4th and any 5th Tuesday.  600 NE Roessel Rd, Belfair.  In October, we move from the Barn to Subway in Silverdale where we have better climate control-2238 NW Bucklin Hill Rd.  Stop by, bring a friend.
