Happy Fall,

Port Orchard Farmers Market September

The equinox signals the shorter days to come as well as the chill that announces another change in what to wear when we venture outside.  We’ve played our last Farmer’s Market until next year.  I have a lot of “harvesting” to do from camps and new tunes and ideas to become familiar with this winter.  District 5 is pulling out October Morn and Harvest Home for our playouts.  Thanksgiving Waltz will be on the table in November.

Our Labor Day campout was so much fun.  Stuart Williams and Pam Borso combined their teaching expertise to teach us 3 new tunes…  The Trip to Windsor, Teardrop Waltz and East Tennessee Blues.  A special time.  Mark your calendars for 2027.  It’s always Labor Day Weekend.  Playing for the Square Dancers, jamming and camping with friends brings such a nice end to the summer.
