Dear Fiddlers,
We are sad to share the news that our good friend and fellow musician Richard Bergdall passed away May 20th.; his daughter Lori is in charge of her Father’s funeral arrangements; we will let everyone know when we hear what they are. We wish the Family Peace and our Condolences of Behalf of all our Old Time Fiddlers Members; he will be dearly missed by many, many people. Richard was a fine musician, and of great service for all the Oak Harbor area Sr. Ctr. fiddlers; getting everything set up! All were so grateful for his devoted helpful service.
Thank you to all of you that were able to attend the payouts, and Jams in May; we and the audience thank you; they all went well, much enjoyed by all; good food, fellowship, and music!! As well all those that pitched in to set up, and pack up, those extra hands are so welcomed! And for the coffee and treats that were provided; thank you! Sarah brings the equipment; Sarah we appreciate you! The May 7th. Sat. Play-out, Birthday celebration for Ray Jensen, 90 years young, went very well; Ray was pleased, and gave us a nice donation; that really helps to keep our Teachers and students learning how to play the Ole time music; thank you Ray! For all that had other commitments in May; we wish you well, and hope to see you soon, and in June; we have some music to share in Whatcom county; see the play-out schedule below. : 0 ) The sun is shining… Music brings happy Hearts! Our Joy to share!
Sunday June 26Th. at Zion Lutheran Church, 7215 Valley View Rd. Ferndale WA. It is their Strawberry Festival! Setup 3:15 p.m. play at 4 p.m.

Barry, our Chair writes, “Fred, I plan to attend. I will be back from England & Ireland on June 8. Note that this event is 2 days after the Lynden Senior Center noon playout. Barry.”

1st. Thursday, June 2nd. Play out at Sedro Woolley Senior Center @ 11:30 am – 12:30 p.m.
2nd and 4th. Fridays, that is June 10th. Meeting and Jam, and June 24th. Jam at Mt. Vernon Senior Center @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Friday June 24th. Play-out at Lynden Sr. Ctr. 401 Grover St., 12:30 p.m. start playing music at 12:30 p.m.
