District 4 is recovering from the loss of active members from death, including a current co-chair, and weather plus covid events causing cancelled meetings in January.

We held our monthly meeting prior to our session on February 11. Barry Cole was voted in as the new chairperson, allowing Fred Robbins to step down from his role of interim chair. We had good attendance (sampled about 8 PM): 12 performers + 16 audience

Our meetings have come out of hibernation, and play outs are starting to recover. Lynden and Mount Vernon have shown interest in having us restart play outs. Oak Harbor jams are no longer running, due to the cost of the hall. We are hoping to restart the Bellingham ones.

It was also discussed whether meeting days or format should be changed. This has been discussed in previous years and been rejected. We will continue our current days and format.

2nd and 4th Fridays Jam at Mt. Vernon Senior Center @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
