A brief note for February from D. 16:

Not much happening here.  The good news is that I have not received any bad news about our district members. 

Our jams continue on second and fourth Fridays.  January jams were small but tons of fun.  We continue masking and distancing, successfully so far.  All healthy and masked folks are welcome to attend!

Now, this is embarrassing.  Since we were permitted to resume jamming last year, we have been having our (brief) district business meetings at the fourth Friday jams.  Which was last night.  Oops.  I realized this morning that I forgot to hold the meeting last night!  My bad.  (OK, not SO bad; we had nothing important to discuss anyway.)  I promise to do better next month, and hold a meeting at the assigned fourth Friday jam. 

Oddly, no one noticed.

OK folks.  Whether you believe in it or not, Covid is killing about 2500 Americans a day.  Again.  It used to be all the news and now sadly is not.  Please mask and distance and be aware and stay well.  Let’s get this thing behind us and get back to our real lives as best we can.  Without, alas, those who have succumbed to it.
