Good News! We will be having a meeting in March. Again finger foods only for the potluck. We will probably be discussing workshop scholarships at the meeting, so parents and kids please be aware of this if you are interested in going to workshop this year. Also, there is a group District 12 text thread that has been starting. I can say for myself it has been very helpful and useful with upcoming playdates and reminders. Please let either Jim or Daryl know if you would like to be on this thread. Lastly a congrats to a couple of our members, Gina (Wuennecke) Taylor and Matt Johnson got married on 2/22/22. Gina is a wonderful fiddler and has been a part of the fiddlers for most of her life and Matt has been known to be quite the guitar player and singer as well.

A message from Chairman Joe Gunter:
I imagine as with all districts in our little fiddling community we are all meandering along riding the tide of current circumstances. Fortunately our play dates have picked up and we have been playing together as much as we can. We are hoping to keep gathering momentum and speed as we head into spring and focus on getting together more. As always February has been a quick month. We were not able to have our spring show this year which was a bummer, but such is life. Spring is upon us and our minds are longing for more mind melting fiddle tunes! We miss our WOTFA family and hope that the membership and districts are thinking about having camp-outs and shows that we can all come to and support. We hope that everybody will support the workshop committee and attend the workshop this year! For now…Keep woodshedding those fiddle tunes, stay healthy, and always tune your fiddle!
