December brings with it a host of emotions that flood through my body, like the feeling of a cold chill on a frosty morning.  These emotions include sadness for a year that has gone by and left me with an empty feeling from the loss of many dear friends and loved ones.

There is the joy with the thoughts of the new year and a new beginning looming in front of me and the feeling of love and happiness, for the family and friends that I have in my life.

As 2019 comes to a close, I want to thank each and every member of the Washington Old Time Fiddlers for your support of this organization.  I have not met all of you in person, but, I consider each and every one family, and I am so grateful that you are part of that family.

One of my favorite holiday wishes is a quote from a greeting card I received several years ago…“May you never be too grown-up to search the skies on Christmas eve.”

May the Holiday Season bring only happiness and joy to you and your loved ones.
