Hi Everyone!
For August we have several fun things going on as we get back into the swing of public performances and playdates.
The first is our monthly meeting and jam on Friday, August 6th from 10am-Noon at the Adna Grange. We’ll be running through some of the tunes for our August play dates and I’ll have a basic playlist to hand out as well.  It’s not a potluck so be sure to bring any food or drinks you might want, and don’t forget about the Adna Burger Bar if you’re hungry after the jam.

Our second event is the very next day, Saturday, August 7th at 11:00am at the dedication of the Borst Historic Church. We’ll be playing some basic tunes and some gospel favorites as well, probably on the porch of the Borst Home next to the church because it’s covered, always good in August. The Church is located at the far South end of Fort Borst Park.
Our third event is the Southwest Washington Fair Playdate on Thursday, August 19th from 11:00am-12:00 at the South Stage.   Both the stage and the audience area are covered, but it will still be quite warm, so bring something to drink. Please try to be in the backstage area at least 15 min beforehand so we can go onstage promptly at 11:00. Admission and parking passes are free to anyone playing at the fair, please let me know how many of each you will need & I will get them to you, hopefully at the Adna Grange jam.

Things are still fairly fluid with Covid-19 numbers, so if there is a big change in status please feel free to check with me about our August events. Texts always work.
Until then be well and keep practicing! I am hopeful we can resume our regular playdate at Colonial Stillwater Estates in September, which is used to pay for District 9 youth scholarships to FiddleCamp every year.
