SUMMARY:2025 Garlic Festival Playdate
DESCRIPTION:Please join WOTFA District 9 as we play for the 2025 Garlic Festival on Friday\, August 22nd from 4:00pm-5:00pm at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds Community Stage.  The address for the Fairgrounds is 1909 South Gold Street in Centralia\, and the Community Stage is located right in the middle of the Fairgrounds.  We will start playing promptly at 4:00pm\, so if everyone can be onstage about 10 minutes early for the sound check that would be great.  Parking is free and I will have admission tickets for anyone in the playdate group who would like them \nWe will be using the August playlist\, but the order is revised to make it banjo-friendly.  If you need a copy please let me (Christie) know at 360-791-5185

SUMMARY:SW Washington Fair Playdate
DESCRIPTION:Please join District 9 as we play at the Southwest Washington Fair on Thursday\, August 14th at 11:00am on the Community Stage at the SW Washington Fairgrounds.  The Community Stage is right in the middle of the Fairgrounds.  We need to be on stage at about 10:45 for a sound check and will be playing for about 45 minutes or so.  We will be using the August playlist for all the playdates this month\, but if there is a tune or song you would like to play please let me know and we will add it. \nIf you will be playing at the Fair please give me (Christie) a call or text at 360-791-5185 and let me know how many admission and parking tickets you will need. Everyone who plays at a WOTFA District 9 Playdate needs to be an active WOTFA member for insurance purposes. You can easily join WOTFA online by going to wotfa.org.  A yearly membership is just $25.

SUMMARY:SW Washington Fair District 9 Playdate
DESCRIPTION:Please join WOTFA District 9 for our Southwest Washington Fair Playdate on Thursday\, August 15th from 11:00am-Noon on the community stage at the fairgrounds.  We’ll be playing from our August playlist\, and the day can be hot and very sunny\, so wear a hat and bring some water for sure.  The stage is covered but faces East so we will be facing the sunny sky when we play. \nPlease let me know if you are planning on playing at the Fair and I will put you on the list for a gate pass.  They will most likely be at the will-call office on the South entrance to the fairgrounds\, close to the fair office.  You MUST be an active WOTFA member to play at any of our playdates\, so WOTFA’S insurance will cover you. \nGive me (Christie) a call or text at 360-791-5185 if you have questions or need a copy of the playlist for the fair. \nSee you there!
