Hi Everyone:

For the month of August this is what we have:

**No Acoustic Jam in August** Our next acoustic jam will be Friday, October 2nd from 11:00 am-1:00pm at our new venue, Steamboat Landing, 115 Ramsey Way in downtown Toledo.

**No Colonial Stillwater Estates Playdate in August **. Our next Colonial playdate will be on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026 from 4:00pm-5:00pm

Here are the three playdates we have in the month of August:

Thursday, August 13th, 11:00am-12:00pm: Southwest Washington Fair Playdate.

We will be playing on the Community Stage which is right in the middle of the fairgrounds. We usually play for about 45 minutes instead if the usual one hour because the Diaper Derby starts at noon on the same stage and there is a pretty big setup for that event. We’ll be using the August playlist, or whatever tunes anyone would like to play, let’s just have some fun.

Let me know how many parking and admission tickets you would like.

Friday, August 21st, 4:00pm-5:00pm:  Garlic Festival Playdate at the SW Washington Fairgrounds Saloon Stage.

Very fun playdate but it’s usually very hot, so dress appropriately and have a hydrating beverage.

Wednesday, August 26th, 3:30pm-4:30pm:  Sharon Care Playdate. Located at 1509 Harrison Ave in Centralia.

The main entrance is in the back of the building. We will be playing in the Skilled Dining Room which is a short distance inside the main entrance.

Also in August:

Mt St HELEN’S BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL: August 7-8-9, 2026.  Put on by Washington Bluegrass Association and takes place at Toledo High School in Toledo. Very fun and large local bluegrass festival with lots of jamming, open mic, band scramble and shows in the evenings. Dry camping at the high school. Marv Sobelesky will be leading the slow jam on Friday at 1:00pm.  Workshops sre Saturday morning at 9:30am. Washingtonbluegrass.com

Centralia Campout:  August 8 through 16th, 2026. Ultra fun and low-key old time music campout and festival. No formal schedule, everything is on a pop-up basis.  Dances, potlucks, jamming and dry camping with the Chehalis River just a few feet away. 1210 K Street, Centralia. Centraliacampout.com
