SUMMARY:District 9 March Open Acoustic Jam
DESCRIPTION:Come on down and join District 9 for our regular 1st Friday of the month open acoustic jam and meeting on Friday\, March 6\, 2026 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Lewis County Historical Museum\, located at 599 NW Front in downtown Chehalis. There is lots of parking on both sides of the museum\, and we will be jamming just inside the main entrance. \nThere will be coffee and tea and some snacks but it won’t be a potluck. The museum doesn’t charge us to use the facility\, but they do ask that if everyone could leave a few dollars in their donation jar at the front desk they would be grateful. \nOur jam is free and open to the public and you do not have to be a member to attend the jam. This jam is beginner friendly and ever Is welcome. \nIf you have questions or need more information please call or text me (Christie) at 360-791-5185.

DESCRIPTION:Emerald City Contra Dance \nwith the Seattle Folklore Society present Contra dancing every Friday at the Phinney Neighborhood Center \n6532 Phinney Avenue North\, Seattle (98103) \nin the Community Hall of the brick building\, near the lower parking lot \nBeginner’s workshop at 7:00 pm (or thereabouts). Dance from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. \n  \nAdmission prices (cash or check only): \n\nSliding scale $10-$20.\nStudents $5 with a school ID.\nFree for people under the age of 16.\n\nAdmission limited to 100 people. This total includes paying & non-paying dancers\, musicians\, callers\, children\, and adults acting like children. (In short\, everyone.) \nFirst time contra dancers get a coupon for free admission to their next dance.\nCoupon redemption limited to first five coupons on any single night. \nFollow us on Facebook. SUMMARY:District 6 Meeting/Jam
DESCRIPTION:We get together to jam\, learn\, eat\, socialize and have a meeting once a month.  All are welcome.  If you would like to have a lesson on mandolin or guitar\, contact Bernie Turner before the date to let him know.  Come anytime you like but note that we stop for a short meeting at 1 pm and then eat lunch together after that.  There is jamming before and after the meeting and lunch break.
