DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our regular 1st Friday open acoustic jam and meeting on Friday\, September 6th from 10am-Noon at Faith Baptist Church\, located at 436 Coal Creek Rd in Chehalis\, just off I-5 exit 79.  To find the church\, take exit 79\, then head EAST.  Go LEFT on N. National Ave\, then a quick RIGHT onto Coal Creek Rd and go 1.1 miles\, then turn RIGHT into the church driveway.  We will be in the middle building.  There will be coffee and tea and some snacks but it won’t be a potluck. \nThe jam is free and open to the public and you do not have to be a WOTFA member to come to the jam.  Our jam is beginner friendly.  If you have questions or need more information please give me (Christied) a call or text at 360-791-5185.

DESCRIPTION:Emerald City Contra Dance \nwith the Seattle Folklore Society present Contra dancing every Friday at the Phinney Neighborhood Center \n6532 Phinney Avenue North\, Seattle (98103) \nin the Community Hall of the brick building\, near the lower parking lot \nBeginner’s workshop at 7:00 pm (or thereabouts). Dance from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. \n  \nAdmission prices (cash or check only): \n\nSliding scale $10-$20.\nStudents $5 with a school ID.\nFree for people under the age of 16.\n\nAdmission limited to 100 people. This total includes paying & non-paying dancers\, musicians\, callers\, children\, and adults acting like children. (In short\, everyone.) \nFirst time contra dancers get a coupon for free admission to their next dance.\nCoupon redemption limited to first five coupons on any single night. \nFollow us on Facebook. SUMMARY:District 6 meeting and jam
DESCRIPTION:We get together to jam\, learn\, eat\, socialize and have a meeting once a month.  All are welcome.  There is usually an opportunity to have a lesson on mandolin or guitar.  There are certain months that we bring a fiddle teacher in\, but not always.  Come anytime you like but note that we stop for the meeting at 1 pm and then eat lunch together after that. \nThe D6 meeting/jam is in September\, October\, November\, January\, February\, March\, and April only.\nNotice that we take a break in the late spring and summer.
