DESCRIPTION:Please join WOTFA District 9 for our Southwest Washington Fair Playdate on Thursday\, August 15th from 11:00am-Noon on the community stage at the fairgrounds.  We’ll be playing from our August playlist\, and the day can be hot and very sunny\, so wear a hat and bring some water for sure.  The stage is covered but faces East so we will be facing the sunny sky when we play. \nPlease let me know if you are planning on playing at the Fair and I will put you on the list for a gate pass.  They will most likely be at the will-call office on the South entrance to the fairgrounds\, close to the fair office.  You MUST be an active WOTFA member to play at any of our playdates\, so WOTFA’S insurance will cover you. \nGive me (Christie) a call or text at 360-791-5185 if you have questions or need a copy of the playlist for the fair. \nSee you there!

The windows are open during the jam and it can get chilly\, even on warm days. \n\n\nThere is no cost\, but our occasional volunteering for Phinney events would be much appreciated. \n\n\nNo Alcohol during the jam\, but there are plenty of opportunities for libations and food afterwards at nearby establishments! \n\n\nWe adhere to all Phinney Center Rules and Policies. \n\n\nUpdated 7/12/2023

DESCRIPTION:Please join WOTFA District 9 for an impromptu acoustic jam happening on Thursday\, August 15th at 2:00pm at the Lewis County Historical Museum\, located at 599 NW Front Way in downtown Chehalis.\nTo find the museum take I-5 to exit 79\, then head EAST on Chamber Way. Take a RIGHT at the light on N National Ave go about 1/2 mile. The museum will be straight ahead of you. There is lots of parking in front of the museum with additional parking behind the building.\nThe jam will commence immediately following a brief ceremony at the museum to receive a 112 year old violin made by a C.L. Young of Chehalis in 1912 and being donated by it’s current owner\, Jim Corbett of Seattle.
