DESCRIPTION:We get together to jam\, learn\, eat\, socialize and have a meeting once a month.  All are welcome.  There is usually an opportunity to have a lesson on mandolin or guitar.  There are certain months that we bring a fiddle teacher in\, but not always.  Come anytime you like but note that we stop for the meeting at 1 pm and then eat lunch together after that. \nThe D6 meeting/jam is on the 1st Sat of the month from 11 am until 4 pm.\nIt is in September\, October\, November\, January\, February\, March\, and April only.\n\nWe do take a break in the late spring and summer.

This fall\, Seattle will be hosting its first annual oldtime music festival\, at the Latvian Centre in the Northgate neighborhood. All are invited to come experience the rich culture and community of oldtime music! \nThere is something for everyone\, with Friday and Saturday performances followed by square dancing and honky-tonk dancing. Music and dance workshops will take place during the day\, along with copious jamming! The Canote Brothers will lead a family dance on Saturday morning. Sunday will finish with a potluck brunch\, cabaret performances\, and more jams. \nLineup\nOur lineup is all local to the Pacific Northwest!
