SUMMARY:The Centralia Campout 2025 happens August 9-17th at 1300 K Street Centralia\, Wa.
DESCRIPTION:Although it’s not a WOTFA event\, it does happen in WOTFA District 9 (Lewis & Thurston Counties)\, and is a convenient place to get together and jam since it is exactly half way between Seattle and Portland. \nThe atmosphere is laid back and there is no set schedule during the day or shows at night\, Everything happens pretty much on a pop-up basis and it is definitely beginner friendly. \nThe Chehalis River is adjacent to the camping are via a short and mostly level trail\, so if the weather is scorching hot it’s easy to cool off in the river if you bring some swim gear. \nIf you’re interested in going for the day but don’t want to go alone\, give me (Christie ) a call or text at 360-791-5185 and we can arrange to meet there and have some fun. \n \nImagine warm summer days\, a beautiful river front setting while jamming all day long for more than a whole week! There won’t be any contests\, stages\, performers\, or schedules to keep track of. This is a relaxed event for musicians who like lots of jamming and hanging out with friends old and new. Spontaneous\, participant organized activities\, such as a cocktail party\, a square dance (yes\, I built a dance floor!)\, a birthday party\, or a corn-feed could occur at any moment. \nIf you enjoy Stickerville at Weiser\, you’ll like this event too! \nThe weather is usually warm and dry this time of year\, but it is best to come prepared for anything! Gather up your friends and family and come on down for 9 days of relaxation\, fun and music!
