DESCRIPTION:Wintergrass is an indoor\, four-day\, family-friendly bluegrass\, Americana\, roots\, world\, and acoustic music festival held in Bellevue\, WA at the end of February. The festival features concerts and dances on four different stages\, music education programs for kids and adults\, workshops\, impromptu jams\, and a chance to reconnect with and make new friends. It’s an arm-wide open event. If you love music\, we love you. She served as Chair of District 10\, where she fostered connection and growth across the region. Denice was also well known for organizing and running the annual fiddle contest at the State Fair\, bringing joy to performers and audiences alike. \nFriends\, family\, and all who knew Denice are welcome to gather in her honor for an afternoon of remembrance\, music\, and community. \nCelebration Potluck & Jam Session\nSunday\, May 24\, 20261:00 PM \nLocation:14000 NE 49th StreetVancouver\, WA 98682 \nThis celebration will include a potluck meal — please bring a dish to share if you’re able. In keeping with Denice’s love of music\, we’ll also host an informal jam session. Musicians are encouraged to bring instruments and contribute to a joyful tribute. \nLet’s come together to honor Denice’s life\, her leadership\, and the many ways she enriched our community.
