The Washington Old Time Fiddlers is proud to present Mattie O'Boyle and his Fundamentals Banjo courses at the WOTFA Learning Academy.

Mattie is the founder of Reel Space Folk Music School, in Valencia, Spain. He has been teaching music for 10 years and has been music making for over 30 years. He designs ear training web apps based on real student needs that he experiences in the classroom, and the creative solutions that help students overcome those needs. These apps are available at reelear.com and are incorporated into all the online courses the he teaches.

Mattie has joined us here at the WOTFA Learning Academy to provide Old Time Banjo courses that you can learn at your own pace.  These multi-week courses will take you on a journey through the art of Old Time Banjo.  Each course contains 13 weeks with the option of instructor led or self study.  A total of 52 weeks of instruction are available now on the WOTFA Learning Academy website.
